E-Learning For Life

Fostering a professional learning community in Qatar and beyond

Here I am with the technical group at ASB Unplugged. It is standard to stick this group as far as possible below ground. But, the technical people at ASB are soooooo skilled. They are knowledgeable and responsive. They are the core of support that makes the laptop project at this school work. They have set up a very robust network with well tested equipment. EVERYTHING WORKS (although with so many teachers at the conference we overwhelm some of their nodes).
We got to see the ASB students in action today. They were a very inpressive group. They don't have MYP here but use DP. The little guys are all blogging and responding. It's an American school with a NICE INTERNATIONAL FLAVOR.

Thanks Sam for sharing the sessions in the tech support strand. It is a real 'techie' atmosphere down there. The session I attended this morning on developing an IT Support office and what real IT Support looks like in a school was excellent...I have lots of notes I will share later.
