Our Stories

The February issue of School Library Journal selected www.ourstories.org as site of the month. This site is an online story sharing jointly founded by UNICEF, One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) and Google. It is an interesting site as the students can record and publish the stories from their elders/storytellers or tell their own story. The site also has interview guidelines for students. Though I like browsing the internet and trying my luck at the new technologies, what I love bestest (a word frequently used by my kids – I correct them, they just ignore me) is to curl on the couch with a book.
