Mike - Thank you for taking the time to show a bit of what you can do with a tablet. I agree with Jannie... start with one idea and build on it. Any chance of getting a copy of your presentation? Looking forward to more. Thanks, Patric

Onenote seems quite an easy and useful tool to use as well. Need a little time to explore more though. Share ideas and thoughts on ease of use and ways of getting the most out of it without becoming cumbersome.

Literacy & Laptops

Some thoughts/questions I have after the session - If technology tools/resources have such a proven positive and dramatic effect on improving literacy:
What are we doing in the classroom, how are we embedding these resources/tools in the classroom, curriculum?
Where is the curriculum leadership for literacy/writing embedding resources/tools?
What is the curricular plan for developing/researching/implementing technology tools or resources? Reading, Writing Coordinators?

The heart of change:

Shift paradigms - Define Initiative - Foster community buy-in - Deploy gradually 3-5 yrs - Develop long term support.

Keeping the momentum going -- Supporting teachers

There is still a buzz around the school after these great PD days. People are talking, taking small steps, big steps and plunging right in to 21st century learning. What can I, all of us and the school do to help everyone continue to develop our 21st century elearning, personal learning networks, and curricular embedding of technology tools? I've made some suggestions direc… Continue
