Yes, all of that equipment is in our classrooms from age 4 - age 6 (we don't have 3 year olds). Once students are in grade 1, they also have laptop carts; by grade 2 there are no more desktops and only laptops.
I do think teachers are happy with the SmartBoards - they use them to make lessons interactive and have students come up to the board to interact with teaching and learning material. To be honest, I'm not sure what else is out there in terms of "finger" boards, but the SmartBoards are working well for us.
I especially like the idea of being able to use the SmartBoard as a center in the classroom, with small groups of students interacting with the board in regular rotation.
I hope that helps! Please feel free to send more questions my way :)
I see Kim has posted a comment re hardware. I have made contact with Marai Knee as well in the USA and she will reply this week.

Our early childhood classrooms have:
A Smart Board
Fixed data projector
Surround sound speakers
4 iMacs (with headphones)
2 iBooks
A document camera
Usually they use the pod of desktops in their classrooms as a center, but we also have a "drop-in" lab if students need to have a full class lesson.
Does that help? If not, please send more questions my way!
