Hi Mike
Thanks for your message.
ISKL is at an interesting transition phase . 2 campuses , 2 platforms, Middle School want macs, looks like High school want PC's and Elementary are already a mac site. After being introduced to apple mac's 18 months ago I'm a convert. Our whole middle school is heading out on Sunday for our week without walls - I'll be taking 25 students to an island with 4 other adults for a week of snorkelling and investigation, then return to K.L. where all 350 students and 95 adults sponsors will be involved in technology projects. Should be fun.
Will share more on my return.
Cheers
Bron
P.S. The mac users group is a must for me!

Hi Bron, while I don't recall actually meeting u in Mumbai I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts via the Ning. It is always great to compare perspectives on similar topics yet be at different schools. I especially hope u join the MAC group and share ISKL's journey into becoming a Mac school.

Hi Bron - I can see you have jumped in quickly too. I have now had a number of very interesting evenings touring through various parts of this ning network. I then moved into Slideshare, Voice Thread as a result of my reading here. As I commented to Julie, I had a feeling she was a MindStretcher! I really like what she and her colleagues are doing - and have done.

I returned "wired up" from the conference - which in itself generates a certain artificiality but that's alright....
Am now working on a network which I haven't launched yet for the Primary Staff at Uplands - "Garbo was wrong" - where I am going to sift through stuff and find some things to get a few others "wired up" as well!
Can't get to the "unplugged" stage yet but I'm working on that too.
Cheers.

Hi Julie
Great initiative, you and your team are certainly pro-active!
Sounds like your trip back to Qatar was eventful. On my return , I'm much more appreciative of Kuala Lumpur !
