Fostering a professional learning community in Qatar and beyond
Concept based curriculum.
The PYP is a "concept based" curriculum. Are we grasping this opportunity or are we too frquently getting bogged down in content? How much do we focus on the concepts? Personally I know my answer would be "Not nearly enough." It is a challenge to separate from the content based curricular we are much more familiar with but I believe it is the most important shift we can make as teachers. What do you think?
